Davis & Shirtliff is looking for qualified, talented and commercially driven technology professional to fill the following position:.
Digital Business Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing the corporate digital business in addition to spearheading the implementation of special ICT projects.
They will work closely with a line executive, the ICT team and front line business units towards utilising and optimising the digital business opportunities available.
Key Objectives
- Develop and execute an eCommerce strategy.
- Roll out, across D&S Group business units, the digital business solutions.
- Implementing special ICT projects eg Customer Relationship Management, Intranet, Internet, Document Management System, barcoding etc.
- Work with the Marketing team to develop and implement a social media strategy.
- Develop technology solutions in liaison with various external consultants.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Degree in Business, Engineering or ICT related field with software development qualifications.
- Atleast four years’ experience in software development in PHP, MS.NET applications.
- Experience in major ICT projects is a key requirement for the role.
- Strong communication, project management and organisational skills.
- High levels of energy, drive, creativity and innovation.
- Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning system and a Customer Relationship Management will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with Business Intelligence tools eg MS Power BI, Jet Enterprise will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with databases eg MS SQL, MYSQL will be essential.
- Team leadership capability.
