Position: Sales Manager
 



Reports To: Commercial Manager

Roles & Responsibilities



  • Developing sales proposals and Following through and closing sales

  • Identifying sales opportunities and setting up initial sales meetings

  • Maintaining and updating a database of existing and potential clients

  • Determining clients’ business requirements and advising them on  appropriate solutions.

  • Should have a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements

  • Develop and generate new business opportunities and acquisition of new projects and project bids

  • Ability to effectively communicate and interface with team members as well as executive level management and clients

  • Support management  in evaluating new business opportunities by providing analysis

  • Manage, support, and supervise the business development department responsible for Presales & Technical support

  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings.

  • Proactively develops and improve products and services by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.

  • Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually.

  • Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams.

  • Coordinate with sponsors concerning size, standards, conditions and timing of research.

  • Support marketing activities, including trade/ scientific shows, mailings, etc. Initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market.

  • Planning and preparing presentations.

  • Establishing and maintaining working relationships. 

  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.

  • Excellent technical knowledge and a keen interest in ICT and business issues

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Results- oriented and self-motivated

  • Passion and desire to help the organization take advantage of opportunities with the innovative application of best ICT  practice and solutions improve their competitive advantage

  • Track record of ongoing success in sales and business development with a strong network of contacts and referral base


Qualifications:


  • At least 4 years experience required in sales or Business Development in VAS & Telecommunication industry

  • Proven IT Solutions & Services sales management experience, together with a good record of achieving targets.

  • Experience of managing multiple customers across geographies.
